Ultra Glow Rapala J-13

The ultimate pier-casting lure for staging salmon and steelhead—now with an intense ultra-glow finish.

One of our retailers challenged us this summer to create an ultra-glow finish for the legendary Rapala J-13. We took on the challenge, and we believe we’ve created one of the strongest glow-in-the-dark finishes ever applied to a J-13.

These lures produce an incredibly bright glow that lasts, giving anglers an added edge when fishing low-light conditions, deep water, or the nighttime bite.

The ultra-glow finish does add some weight, but through careful experimentation, we developed the coating so the lure still floats and maintains the action that makes the J-13 so effective. These lures are finished with a durable epoxy clear coat.

Every batch is carefully tested. We tank-test random lures from each production run to ensure they float properly and swim as intended.

Bright glow. Proven J-13 action. Built for salmon and steelhead.
