Our Story

At Van Dutch Fishing we are passionate fishing and we are even more passionate about fishing tackle and the hobby of building and making it.  We have been involved in the fishing tackle industry in various roles for the past 10 plus years.  We decided to build this business and site with the goal of becoming a leading supplier of fishing tackle components and custom built and custom painted tackle.  We are located in beautiful Central Ontario very close to our home body of water Lake Simcoe. In addition to supplying components and tackle to hobbyists and manufacturers we hope our blog will provide valuable information to help you build or paint your next custom tackle creation.  Fishing tackle is amazing because of the potential it represents.  Potential for that next catch of a lifetime, potential for a memorable day on the water with family or friends.
